Sewing Level: Beginner if you stick to the pattern as-is
Fabric: Woven (pictured is a sheer woven from Hart’s Fabric) and an embroidered lightweight fabric.
I made size and View (if applicable): 12/14
My mods:
Floral:Style: yoke with lined lower bodice, back pleat, curved hem, shorter overall but a bit lower in back Fit: added back pleat to make extra across the back hip, add ease in the sleeve cap and dropped the armhole 3/4”
Blue Embroidered:Added a bust dart and back darts (Demonstrated in the Cutting video)in addition to using the same armhole I made on my original and also we tried out my Floral Scout and a bias cut Scout to see how they'd fit on my dressform. the bias cut version was a pleasant surprise! The Cutting (first video) is a great demonstration on using my Beatrice Form!
White with Red:I made this one quickly by cutting it on the bias. I only added back darts. But the armhole and sleeve mods are carried over from my other two Scouts. Exposed binding trim on neck and sleeve hem.
Description: Scoop neck T-Shirt but made with a woven not a knit!

Notes:The Scout is a bit of a legend in indie pattern land. It’s easy to sew and modify. All my mods may seem a bit much but the fabric sort of dictated my design. I'm glad I got to tackle this pattern again and review some fit questions and experiments when we made the blue embroidered Scout.
