For the first week of December 2019 we're sewing Gifts!
Sewing Level: Beginner, but there is some binding- but you got this!
Fabric: Wovens- Make sure your fabrics can resist heat for hot dishes.
I made size and View (if applicable): Round (Pie or Tart) or Rectangle (Casserole)
Description: Dish Carriers for your next potluck or event. Easily carry a dish with room for utensils. Only the pattern is here in the download- you'll need the video for detailed instructions. The patterns can be found here.
You'll need to tune in for the sewing instructions or watch the videos once they're uploaded.
You can easily make either with a yard of fabric. Or mix up the prints using fat quarters. I also recommend an interlining to give the carrier some body- you can go as heavy as stiffener or as light as a couple layers of unwanted cotton. I like to use canvas.
Printing: Print Actual Size- and print on cardstock if you have some! you can then trace the patterns on to the fabric.
If you'd like to continue to see regular free patterns and how to's- consider supporting me on Patreon (they get free patterns too!) Thanks!
