I've sewn these a few times. I have a slow-sewing series (Jeans for Noobs), a 'speed run' and my first ever pair. The first video link is a How-To for sewing a Zipper Fly.
Notes:I keep coming back to these. I have shorts even! Putting the time in to customizing your jeans pattern is worth it. And I talk a lot about fit and pattern drafting. If you want to explore jeans making further I suggest the Mountain View Pull-On Jeans we made as a sew along. The first videos go over patterns and sizing pretty thoroughly but in a speedy way. (Be easy on me- some of my first streams I'd forget to turn on my mic at the beginning- I know- I know. I've learned :)
