Fabric: Silhouette by Alison Glass, cotton voile
I made size and View (if applicable): Size 12; Dress view with popover placket.
My mods: Added cut-away pockets and shortened by 1.75". Because of the border print, this was fussy cut and most of it is on the cross grain. **Edited: I ended up shortening this until it worked. The back was just too pillowcase like for me. I think the pleat fullness exists only at the top and at the bottom it's the regular width (without pleat) giving a hunch back look on me. Also the dress was too short as a dress and wasn't the proper fullness at the hem for a tunic. I shortened it to a almost a crop top- a tragedy but it still looks pretty cute and now I can wear it! I also took out the pleat and made it inverted rather than box.**
Description: Short sleeve, popover style, with dramatic curved shirt hem.

Notes: (read my mods) I LOVE the way this one fits on the front but not so much on the back (just a preference). I will put time in to this pattern to make the back fit me the way I like. I definitely wouldn't shorten it for the dress view- it's too short. Because I made cut away pockets I can't make it a tunic now. I wear it over jeans.
