Sewing Level:Advanced Beginner
Fabric: Wovens, quilting weight works for this one but I've also used Liberty lawn.
I made size and View (if applicable): Size L, View A mostly (the navy blue dress is the longer length).
My mods: Added pockets, and I don't finish the seams since the dress is bias cut. I also top-stitched either side of most seams.
Description: Bias Cut dress. Short sleeves, faced neckline.

Notes:One of my favorite dresses to make. Most of us have succumbed to the temptation of quilting cottons for clothes and this is the rare garment for which they work. Sewing a bias cut garment has new skills and things to think about too! I recently learned I don't need to use the zipper to take this dress off and put it on. Game changer! I've made at least four of these dresses. They are comfortable and fit well although the size range is very limited.
