Sewing Level:Advanced Beginner
Fabric: Wovens, something with drape. A double gauze is used for this project.
I made size and View (if applicable): Size 12, Cap Sleeve
My mods: None- except I worked on the sizing a bit in the Cutting video. I lined the bodice.
Description: Princess seams and inverted tucks make this dress a classic hourglass silhouette. Full button front with the button band/facing on the exterior.
NOTE: In the Cutting video, I erroneously thought the Button Bands laid on top of the bodice and lined up with the edge. But in fact it extends past the neckline edge and sews to it. When you fit yours, take this in to account. My bodice is a tad larger now but not by much and I was able to fix the pieces before I sewed them on.

Notes: I've wanted to make this dress since the day I saw it! The pattern has cup sizes (and different bodice patterns for each one). Hopefully the hedgehogs weren't a bit over the top ;)
This is my new favorite dress...I did struggle with using double gauze occasionally and maybe flat felling the waist seam was a bit ambitious but the inside looks nice. It also made finishing the button band super fiddly and it took me some time.
