Home Sew Cat Walk: (Video of the Kielo Dress in Action)

Notes:Very quick to sew wrap dress. Armholes and neckline can be hemmed or bias finished. I chose to hem the armholes and bias finish the neckline. I used French Seams throughout except for the side seam - more of the side seams are exposed to the inside of the garment than I thought would be exposed-you might want to finish these edges. They are a part of the wrap but only a portion of them are tucked in side the wrap.

A note about the fabrics: This Kielo is sewn in a non-stretch woven. I asked a few folks about how they chose their size when using a knit and I got answers going both ways- some sized up and some sized down. This one fit me pretty well and personally I think if I used a VERY bouncy and stretchy knit I'd size down. For a firmer knit I'd stay the same size. Hope that helps.
